You’ll have what’s called CQ and fireguard duty. This means you’ll have shift at night where you monitor your barracks, take headcount, report headcount into the Drill on duty, and clean. Do not fall asleep on duty! Wear the proper uniform at all times! Drill Sgt's like to come in a surprise you, if you’re not in proper uniform or you’re asleep, you’re in a world of trouble. CQ and fireguard shifts suck, that’s one hour less of sleep. Deal with it and make the most of it. Study, clean, be productive with your time. Don’t complain, it gets you nowhere.----------------------
